Our U21 teams championship season came to a close on bank holiday Monday. They faced Athenry in the A-Championship quarter finals and lost out on a scoreline of 2:11 to 0:23 points. In a very stop start game neither side played to their full potential, but Athenry were deserving winners in the end.
With championship action over for the season there is a full programme of league fixtures set for next weekend. On Sunday Castlegar are away to Athenry at 11am on Sunday.
