Castlegar GAA Club Hurling News:
The senior championship relegation fixtures are finally upon us. Castlegar are due to play Kiltormer on Sunday at 2pm in Loughrea. Games between the clubs in recent years have gone Castlegar's way and hopefully that trend will continue on Sunday. That game is followed by Craughwell v Tynagh-Abbey-Duniry at 3:30pm.
The only other team in championship action at the moment are our U15's. On Thursday Sept 11th they took on Athenry won on a scoreline of 1:16 to 1:06. Next week they are due to face Clarinbridge at home on Thursday at 6pm.
The clubhouse is still closed for renovations at the moment, but is due to reopen on Monday so hopefully the cards and all the other activities will get back to normal in the coming weeks.
